In-Town Soccer
In-Town is for players in 3rd , 4th or 5th grade.
This program is for 3rd to 5th graders and all games will be played in Winchester. The players will be distributed among evenly balanced teams with players of varying skill levels on each team. The objective of the program is to provide an opportunity to play soccer in a more relaxed environment. The players will develop their soccer skills and play in fun, competitive matches! In-Town teams practice once (or maybe twice) a week, scheduled by the volunteer coach and play approximately eight 7v7 games on Saturday afternoons in Winchester. Players do not need to attend Travel Placements for this program. For more information on WSC's more competitive Travel program, please refer to the Travel Soccer program.
As of Fall 2024, the in-town program is only available on the Boys side. We did not have enough demand for an in-town girls program as most female players have opted to play travel. We encourage players of all levels to consider town-travel.
IF YOU ARE ABLE, PLEASE VOLUNTEER TO COACH. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
We would not be able to produce the In-Town League without the time and effort of our volunteer coaches. If you are able, please consider volunteering to coach. No experience is necessary -- you just need a positive attitude with the players. We have practice plans and additional resources available to make that part easy. If you have any questions about coaching, please contact your Age Group Coordinator.

Registration deadline April 1
Ages: Grades 3-5
Dates: Saturdays, April 12 - June 14. (No session April 26 or May 24).
Games will be on Saturdays. Practice days/times vary by team but will be 1 or 2 evenings during the week.
Location: Winchester
Cost: $250*
*Full and partial scholarships are available upon request.
Players are guaranteed a spot on a team. No placements or tryouts required.

Uniforms/Equipment/Rules:
The uniform for all WSC Travel and In-Town players is the WSC red and black striped jersey with black shorts and black socks (over the shin guards).
All NEW Travel and In-Town players (grades 3-12) must purchase the full Puma kit (jersey, shorts, and socks). Link below
Returning In-Town and Travel players are not required to buy a new jersey and may continue to wear the past style red and black striped jersey.
Players must wear soccer cleats (no sneakers or baseball cleats allowed) and shin guards.
Bring a size 4 soccer ball and water bottle. Please label both with the player's name.
No jewelry, including earrings. The only exception is a taped medical I.D. bracelet.
Parent Information: Parents should not stand with the team. All parents are asked to view sessions on the sideline opposite the players.
